La voile d’ombrage ACRYLIC est disponible en formats standards ou sur mesure. Sa conception s’inspire directement de la fabrication des voiles de bateaux, garantissant une résistance extrême aux tensions et aux intempéries.
Une robustesse à toute épreuve :
Grammage Renforcé : Un tissu premium de 275g/m² (à 300g/m² selon les gammes), spécifiquement développé pour l’ombrage extérieur permanent.
Ingénierie de Tension : Une sangle en polyester est insérée dans l’ourlet sur tout le périmètre, renforcée par des anneaux inox 316 (qualité marine) à chaque coin de la voile. Cette structure répartit la traction sur toute la surface pour une meilleure résistance et une stabilité parfaite.
Coutures Haute Résistance : Finition avec ourlet replié 3 fois, double couture avec fils 100% polyester haute ténacité et imputrescibles, identiques à ceux utilisés en voilerie nautique.

Doubles renforts à chaque angle avec points d’arrêts consolidés.

Contrairement aux tissus standards du marché, notre acrylique offre une stabilité dimensionnelle supérieure : il ne se détend pas avec le temps et conserve sa forme originelle saison après saison.
Note technique : Pour garantir cette solidité, la voile est confectionnée en laizes (bandes de tissu) de 130 à 150 cm selon le coloris choisi.
Installation :
Pente de 25% impérative pour assurer l’écoulement de l'eau et éviter les poches.
Utilisation recommandée en saison estivale et mi-saison.
Sécurité : Décrocher impérativement la voile en hiver et en cas de vents forts ou tempêtes.
Nettoyage :
Entretien courant : Eau, savon doux et brosse souple.

How to choose between a Waterproof sail (Acrylic) and Micro-perforated (Austral)?
Le choix dépend de votre priorité. Choisissez l'Acrylic si vous souhaitez créer un espace de vie protégé de la pluie fine et si vous disposez d'une hauteur suffisante pour créer une pente de 25%. Choisissez l'Austral si vous habitez une région venteuse ou si votre façade est basse. Elle est idéale pour briser la chaleur tout en laissant circuler l'air.
How to take measurements for my custom sail?
Do not measure the desired size of the fabric, but the distance between your attachment points (walls or masts).
Important: We will then calculate the necessary "shrinkage" for you to integrate the tensioning accessories (carabiners, tensioners) and allow optimal tension without the sail touching the anchor points.
Why is it recommended to take down my shade sail in winter?
Even though our ACRYLIC and AUSTRAL sails are designed with high-tech materials capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, taking them down during the winter is strongly recommended for three main reasons:
- Preventing snow weight:Unlike rain that flows or passes through the mesh, snow can accumulate and stagnate on the fabric. Its considerable weight exerts unexpected and colossal tension on your attachment points and on the structure of your facade, risking damage.
- Protecting against winter storms:Winter winds are often more violent, unpredictable, and accompanied by debris. Taking down your sail avoids unnecessary mechanical stress and protects the fabric from repeated friction during the months when you are not enjoying your terrace.
- Extend the lifespan of your investment:By keeping your sail and its accessories (carabiners, tensioners) protected from stagnant moisture and frost, you preserve the vibrancy of the colors and the flexibility of the fibers. Proper winter storage can double the longevity of your equipment.
Workshop advice:Take advantage of the disassembly in autumn to clean your sail with soapy water. Make sure it isperfectly drybefore folding it and storing it in a dry place so that it is as good as new when the first rays of spring sunshine arrive.
Why are the edges of my sail curved (dished)?
It's a mark of quality! All our sails have a curved cut on the sides. This engineering allows the tension from the corners to be distributed towards the center of the sail. The result: a perfectly flat, well-tensioned fabric that does not flap in the wind. A sail with straight edges would create unsightly creases in the middle.
Can I install my sail on an exterior thermal insulation wall (ITE)?
Yes, but it requires specific fixings (chemical anchors or long threaded rods) that pass through the insulation to anchor into the load-bearing material (brick, concrete). We recommend consulting us for this type of support to ensure the safety of the installation under high tension.
Is my sail guaranteed against fading?
Absolutely. Thanks to the use of mass-dyed fibers (Acrylic) or UV-treated high-density polyethylene (Austral), our colors are guaranteed for 5 years. Unlike mass-market fabrics that fade in the sun, our textiles retain their brilliance season after season.
