Reinforced Weight: A premium fabric of 275g/m² (up to 300g/m² depending on the ranges), specifically developed for permanent outdoor shading.
Tension Engineering: A strap made of polyester is inserted into the hem around the entire perimeter, reinforced by 316 stainless steel rings (marine quality) at each corner of the sail. This structure distributes the tension across the entire surface for better resistance and perfect stability.
High Resistance Stitching: Finished with a hem folded 3 times, double stitching with 100% high tenacity and rot-proof polyester threads, identical to those used in marine sailmaking.

How to take measurements for my custom sail?
Do not measure the desired size of the fabric, but the distance between your attachment points (walls or masts).
Important: We will then calculate the necessary "shrinkage" for you to integrate the tensioning accessories (carabiners, tensioners) and allow optimal tension without the sail touching the anchor points.
Why is it recommended to take down my shade sail in winter?
Even though our ACRYLIC and AUSTRAL sails are designed with high-tech materials capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, taking them down during the winter is strongly recommended for three main reasons:
- Preventing snow weight:Unlike rain that flows or passes through the mesh, snow can accumulate and stagnate on the fabric. Its considerable weight exerts unexpected and colossal tension on your attachment points and on the structure of your facade, risking damage.
- Protecting against winter storms:Winter winds are often more violent, unpredictable, and accompanied by debris. Taking down your sail avoids unnecessary mechanical stress and protects the fabric from repeated friction during the months when you are not enjoying your terrace.
- Extend the lifespan of your investment:By keeping your sail and its accessories (carabiners, tensioners) protected from stagnant moisture and frost, you preserve the vibrancy of the colors and the flexibility of the fibers. Proper winter storage can double the longevity of your equipment.
Workshop advice:Take advantage of the disassembly in autumn to clean your sail with soapy water. Make sure it isperfectly drybefore folding it and storing it in a dry place so that it is as good as new when the first rays of spring sunshine arrive.
Why are the edges of my sail curved (dished)?
It's a mark of quality! All our sails have a curved cut on the sides. This engineering allows the tension from the corners to be distributed towards the center of the sail. The result: a perfectly flat, well-tensioned fabric that does not flap in the wind. A sail with straight edges would create unsightly creases in the middle.
Can I install my sail on an exterior thermal insulation wall (ITE)?
Yes, but it requires specific fixings (chemical anchors or long threaded rods) that pass through the insulation to anchor into the load-bearing material (brick, concrete). We recommend consulting us for this type of support to ensure the safety of the installation under high tension.
Is my sail guaranteed against fading?
Absolutely. Thanks to the use of mass-dyed fibers (Acrylic) or UV-treated high-density polyethylene (Austral), our colors are guaranteed for 5 years. Unlike mass-market fabrics that fade in the sun, our textiles retain their brilliance season after season.
